NBA season 2018/19

Even with the Lonzo Ball it wasn't a complete blow out the kid can play just needs a run of injury free court time and get out of those BBB shoes haha (not that Nike is much better if you ask Zion). Not sure how if both are injury free the dynamics of two pass first guards in Rondo and Ball will work unless Lonzo finally gets that shot going.
I love a good passing guard so I'm a bit biased.
In other news where do you think everyone will end up. Raptors could end up with an empty roster
Anthony Davis
Draymond Green
Andre Drummond
Demar DeRozan
Kristaps Porzingis
Al Horford
Mike Conley
Gordon Hayward
Danilo Gallinari
Marc Gasol
Kyle Lowry
Otto Porter
Serge Ibaka
Paul MillsapPotential Restricted Free Agents:
Ben Simmons, Brandon Ingram, Jaylen Brown, Buddy Hield, Pascal Siakam, Jamal Murray, Dejounte Murray, Kris Dunn, Caris LeVert, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Dario Saric, Domantas Sabonis, Malik Beasley, Taurean Prince.

Davis staying in NO is now a real possibility. You'd think it depends on how good Zion is. If he's a Lebron-level talent, then AD would be insane to walk away from that.
Draymond and Klay seem likely to stay in Golden State.
Pretty sure Mike Conley's deal lasts for at least another year, though.

Rumour has it KD and KI will go to the Knicks
Another rumour has KI going to the Lakers to reunite with LBJ
Kawhai was meant to be heading to the Clippers
That is a big list, could be some big changes in the landscape before next year. The Warriors will probably still win though.....

Yeah I got the info from this site https://www.forbes.com/sites/tommybeer/2019/04/22/2020-nba-free-agent-rankings-anthony-davis-draymond-green-and-the-top-15-overall/#65a41e9b63f2
Some are player options.
Rumour Mill is rife at the moment. Think the KD/KI was built off the knicks getting Zion. Man I hope he is as good in the NBA as he looks. Absolute freak and for the next few years doesn't blow your cap.
Wonder what Kawhai would do if the raptors won the chip. Be like a reverse KD going from a winner to a also-ran.
-
The thing that unites Kawhi, KD and Kyrie is they are all totally unpredictable, with a wild variety of motivations, weaknesses, aspirations.
I'd suggest that nobody really knows what each will do. The Kawhi to the Clippers rumour seems to be the most likely, but who knows what impact this title run will have on him.

It doesn't seem to be based in reality. Just the spinning wheels of the online content machines.
Now he might say something in the next week/month to change that, but for the moment I think it's very unlikely.
With him, a re-committed Davis and Holiday they could be good straight away. Especially if Zion can get out of the blocks quickly

Not a lot of support for the AD stays in NOLA theory on The Jump.
Because ESPN are at DEFCON 5 about Zion at a small market. They are balls deep in Zion to NY/LA

All indications are that Zion will go to the Pelicans. https://ftw.usatoday.com/2019/05/zion-williamson-stepfather-duke-pelicans-new-orleans-rumors-options-excited-nba-draft
If you were AD, surely you'd wait until the end of the year before making up your mind on staying/going. If this guy is the next Lebron (a big if), then staying becomes a lot more attractive.
And with a committed AD, Zion and Jrue, the Pelicans now become a free agent destination. Add in a Tobias Harris or a Jimmy Butler and you've got a team that can contend in the West.
-
@barbarian Griffin is a good GM (I wanted him to go to the Lakers and sort that dumpster fire out), he has street cred from dealing with LBJ in CLE, the basketball situation is good so it is only a question of repairing the relationship with the franchise and if AD has his heart set on leaving regardless. If that happens Griffin will get a good deal for AD and the Pels will be set for the next 5 years
-
Who knows what is going on in Davis' head, or what his Klutch friends are telling him. Logic would suggest he should wait it out and see how good Zion is.
But if he's still got his heart set on a big market team then it might be impossible for him to be coaxed back to New Orleans, even for a supermax deal.
An interesting twist will be if Zion also signs with Klutch, and what that means for Davis as well.

If Kyrie makes the decision to come to LA, then the Lakers can throw everything at the Pelicans for a Davis trade.
Lonzo, Ingram, Kuzma, Hart and a pick or two (even the #4 they have in this draft). AND if they play their cards right the Pelicans will still have cap space on top of that. Might be a hard one to turn down.
