@mariner4life he shoots 3s like a legless dog fucks.

@barbarian well actually it's his 3rd...
Is that you Donovan Mitchell...
The East will be really intriguing. It’s not out of the realm of possibility that the team with the best record in the NBA could go in the first round given a lack of playoff experience

At this point last year, the Lakers were 29-36.
Right now, they are 30-35.
If only they had Lonzo....

@barbarian career-best form? But isn't he a rookie?
Woosh! Simmons for ROTY.

I've been watching the Sixers a bit lately, and it wouldn't shock me to see them get as far as the Confernce Finals, maybe further.
Tobias Harris is really good, Butler is an alpha dog who can take over games in the last five minutes (they needed that last year), Embiid controls the post as well as any big in the league and Simmons is arguably in career best form right now.
Add to that Redick, and some useful bench contributers and that's a team as good as any in the East.
The key for them will be avoiding the Celtics for as long as possible. It's crucial they get over the Pacers and into third.
Seems like every time I tune into an NBA game on Sky it's the bloody Sixers!
Suns beat the almost equally woeful Knicks yesterday to go to 3-0 in March

@shark Booker being more of a playmaker has definitely helped the Suns.
Oddly, their assist count every game seems light. I'm not sure if they secure the #1 pick that they shouldn't go for a point guard but fucked if i know who. Williamson is far and away the best player available but not sure he plays where the need is greatest. Maybe pick him up and sign some grizzly vet to jog it up.

His Blue Devils team mate wouldn’t be a bad choice if they don’t snag no1

Warriors came to play today and dealt to the Nuggets.

@shark they will be able to sign Rajon Rondo in about 17 games time.
Is he a free agent? I’d happily have him as the vet PG and grab Williamson in the draft.
Or go hard for Kemba Walker, shore up the front court with another vet or two as they tried to do this season and then who really cares what happens in the draft. A Walker / Booker back court would go close to the best in the league.

Suns hold on to beat the Warriors. That’s the Bucks and Warriors knocked over on consecutive weekends and something like four wins in our last five. If we’re not careful we’ll crack 20 wins this season.
Suns are chasing the Lakers...
-
Spurs have won 5 straight including tipping over the Bucks to firm up for the 8 seed in the west. So we get to be the Warriors tune up for the tougher teams. Awesome.
-
Clippers in the hizzy. Smashed the Celtics. With their 4th quarter scoring ability, I think they are a playoff banana skin for any of the more fancied teams.
-
seems like an interesting day. Westbrook got in a slanging match with some fans. Ibaka and Chriss had a fight.
Clippers going well, and perhaps becoming the LA destination team while they are at it?
