@MajorRage lance Armstrong?
Totally different conversation that, but am certainly in the pro-Lance group.

Me too. But I feel the conversations are pretty similar.

I'll give you that they are related. But not similar.
I don't have respect for Lance for taking a load of drugs to win what he did. Ferguson / Waugh and their ilk have certainly crossed lines (or bent, at least) in their pursuit of victory, but they were never guilty of the types of things that Armstrong did.

And Arsenal and Chelsea both have Huddersfield and Man City in the next 2 rounds. Will be a good way to see how the two teams compare and which has the upper hand in the race for fourth.
Big decision for Emery on whether he wants to focus on the race for fourth or Europa and attempt the Chelsea route to the champions league.
Right now I reckon United has the upper hand for 4th spot .....
All the Schadenfreude around Man U is long forgotten.
I think you are right. Hard to dislike them with Ole in charge. He is so inoffensive.
speak for yourself
I was. Put him in charge of Spurs and see how inoffensive I find him then
How do you find Pochettino then? I find him pretty inoffensive.
I actually quite like Man U, and it's was disappoiting to see them struggle under Mourinho, somebody who I also like. Reason being is that in my firs stint in London, was peak Ferguson. And there was something about Ferguson which I really admired, and at that time really wanted to see in the AB's (this was 00-04, so peak AB WC failure).
That unbelievable drive and desire to not give a fuck about absolutely anybody, anything and any obstacle in your say to succeed. It's a quality I still admire in anybody who I see it in.
To be quite honest, I don't despise Spurs like I 'should'. Poch is fine. In saying that, I don't want them winning anything either.
Most of my Facebook mates are Either Spurs or Scouser supporters so I am quite happy for them both to win Jack

Liverpool win 3-0, and with City playing Chelsea, there was a chance Liverpool could take back control of the race.
So of course i check the result this morning and City have fucking hammered Chelsea in a really ominous win.
Seriously, Liverpool are going to take 90+ points and lose the title. City are ridiculous.

I suspect you are right.
6 nil is nuts. Chelsea are in a massive rut at the moment, but still shouldn’t lose by 6

It would be nice if someone had pumped ÂŁ1.3bn in Liverpool over the last decade. You just can't compete with that sort of cash.
-
So on Sunday Liverpool have to go to Old Trafford while City pump Chelsea again at Wembley. Lose that (and it is not as enticing a fixture as when JM was in charge) and Liverpool and City are level on points and games.
The damage was done when we couldn't beat West Ham. Hopefully we'll have Gini back in the middle.

Chelsea appear to be fucked for the foreseeable future

It’ll be a long time .... Klopp, Guardiola snd to a lesser extent Pochettino have built squads that can’t be beaten to the title in quick fashion.
We either stick with Sarri or give the next bloke 4 years.
Until you give him a chance to assemble his own squad it's a wasted year to fire him now.

Old squad, no transfers, stars possibly out. Coach maybe sacked. Who would they get to take the job?

I don't think a club like Chelsea will go for a young up and comer. At least not yet. They won't be satisfied without a reasonably big name

That doesn't answer, who would take a hopeless job with an owner barred from the country with a history of sacking managers? When you can't even transfer in players to suit your style?
-
Also I am convinced we'll lose to Man U this weekend.
Because the last 25-odd years have proven the natural order is liverpool don't win, and Man U are fucking fluffybunnies
