Preseason starts today for super rugby teams. Just saw Bailyn Sullivan's Instagram story, it seems like Orbyn Leger is training with the Chiefs.

I just read in Taranaki's media release announcing their sevens teams' squads, that Beaudein Waaka is unavailable for the regional sevens tournament. Reason given: Super Rugby. I assume he's training with the Chiefs' squad?

Waaka is from Taranaki isn't he?

I think the family still lives in Hamilton so he probably spends the off-season in the region, and it would make sense if the Chiefs need a larger squad.

I might try to get down to a training session next week to have a look at who is there.

Jesse Parete has been tagged in photos on the Chiefs IG. I really can't stand him aye, he has a massive attitude problem and is pretty ill disciplined, Chiefs could definitely do without him.
