    Jason Shoemark or Winston Stanley?

Shoemark was a good player. Chuck him at 12 in place of Tua.

Did Mose Tuiali'i play for the Blues?

Bryce Heem, Hayden Taylor or Lachie Munro on the wing.

@Tim Here is what he is up to these days, an inspiring story after an undiagnosed problem set him back during his younger days and then the rugby injury as well.

@Duluth I'd forgotten Mr. Holwell had his final season with the Blues after that period when he was sort of in limbo flip flopping between Leinster and the Hurricanes.

Still more than enough to keep Lachie Munro out of this team

@Higgins I remember something about a neck injury and facial paralysis? It was a bit of shock back then, IIRC.

Bronson Murray or Ross Wright at prop, although IIRC the latter was signed as a prop but only played hooker for the Blues.

Converted to tighthead, and could play both sides.

@Tim bench: Moulds/Dow, Storey, Waa, Maimuri, Pryor (either haha) Gibson/Nock/Senio, Arlidge, Heem (although possibly start him and Hyland on the bench)

    I'd start Tuiali'i at 8.

    8 Brain

Team looks good apart from no 8. He was so associated with another province and there'a massive gap between him playing NPC for Northland and his time with the Blues

There's good no 8's that played their best SR rugby elsewhere - Mose & Vahafolau. So they don't really work that well

Gus played no 8 a handful of times. Maybe shift him to 8 and squeeze in another openside like Kara Pryor?

Depends whether the selection policy is "best team of players from the province who played for the Blues" or "best team of players from the province based on their performances for the Blues".

Thanks bro, left off my bench loosie.

And it’s an old school bench of 7 given most of my faves played during that time.
