That was a damn good win. Oz much bette than game 1 and we stepped up too. Like that we shifted things and played a bit more height when needed.
Oz leg is going to be fiery I reckon.

Nice to see that Grace Nweke appears to be the dominant physical targetwoman at GS that we've missed for some time. Toeava has an almost telepathic connection with her, which makes the fact that she isn't going to Australia preposterous

The game was made a hard watch by the camera angles. Noticed it in the first game too. Keep the angles simple (ie side on at halfway) and save the fancy angles for replays.

Ferns completely outplayed last night.
Was quite disappointed that Souness played the whole game at Centre - she had a shocker.
Toeava was definitely missed.
Ferns must win or tie on Sunday to keep the Constellation Cup.
I can't believe they chose to leave Toeava at home

I think the decision was made before the series kicked off so they probably didn't know she would be so good. I respect Noeline for not going back on that decision. She said it wouldn't have been fair to turn around and tell another player the plans had changed and that she was giving players a chance to push for the World Cup squad.

Fair enough I suppose. But it might cost us the cup. If you switched NT and Toeava for Foster and Jordie I'm not sure the posters would be as sympathetic...

When the scoreboard counts, it was very disappointing to lose by that much.
If we somehow snag a draw that would be awesome and would probably upset the Australian “we don’t care if the lights are on” Opals even more.

@canefan Agreed. The only 2 times we have beaten Aus recently Toeava carved Aussie up in combination with Nweke.
If feels like a bad case of overthinking it.
NTB talked about versatility being the important thing. But It's a cardinal sin to leave your x factor behind at home

Toeava should have at least been named as one of the extra three players. The reason given is that she only plays WA.
Nweke scored 70 goals in the ANZ Cup final. A big proportion of those were from feeds by Toeava
Sure, but she isn't going to start ahead of Crampton.

Watching Nettie as a prelude. SFs finding Uganda more of a handful. Jeez their GS is 6ft 7...SFs need to crank it up a bit and work their defence harder. Must say Uganda getting the rub of the green.
