Bro, we showed amazing composure. We knew OZ would make one of their trademark runs in the 4th, they’re damn good. But we were able to score the odd goal and it was enough.

Absolutely stoked that we were able to stay tough.

All the pressure on the ABs now to get the treble - Netty, Cricket, Rugby

Winning by only 1 goal was the best result as those loses hurt the most.

Noelene Taurua is a goddamned fucking coaching legend. NNZ should be kissing her boots right now, after what she achieved in less than a year. Losses to minnow teams, bundled out of the CG, super charged division in team, confidence gone........to world champions.

Is anyone questioning her decision to play the NZ men's netball team now?

I wonder what Janine Southby thinks now?

We know that Langman and Kopua wouldn't have come back for starters.

I feel sorry for her, she should have never got the job in the first place. The rules that sent Langman into exile didn't help either, which falls at the feet of the previous regime

This article explains perfectly all that Taurua did to get the Silver Ferns back as world champs and probably save the sport in the process. Netball NZ needs to do whatever she wants to get her back as head coach.

Analysis - In 11 months coach Noeline Taurua restored mana to the Silver Ferns and delivered on her word to medal at the Netball World Cup. RNZ netball reporter Ravinder Hunia looks back at her reign.

They can't afford to drop the ball again. I am sure it will not be just about the money as there just isn't that much in netball. But give her a blank page

I agree with your comments, and Poole and Lancaster were to blame for the situation the Silver Ferns found themselves in.

Back to the game, after watching a full replay of the final, Ekenasio was outstanding.
