Haha must have been a bad one. Highlights on the sports news showed me with my head in my hands more than once. Fuck we suck.

Good to see Perth's losing streak continue, against the Hawks no less. I enjoyed Friday night's game as it was my first chance to see the Breakers live in a regular season game.

At the halfway stage, 4 teams are fighting for the last SF spot.

Sydney v Melbourne yesterday was a bloody good game, and i am still not sure how Sydney managed to lose it.

Perth losing is good for everyone. But unfortunately for everyone else, we will play them back in to form on New Years eve.

When you look at the Hawks' roster i am astounded they are not doing better, they are pretty stacked.

The Hawks couldn't hit a shot against the Breakers but the likes of Andersen and Blanchfield couldn't miss in the Perth game based on the brief highlights I saw. The Hawks have an imposing front line but their depth at guard isn't great.

Two lop sided semi final series. And it's Melbourne v Perth. Can both teams lose?

Perth take game 1. Quite an intense first half with both defences stepping up.

Perth went on a run in the 3rd and United chasing the rest. Every time United looked to make a run, the Wildcats hit a big shot to keep a good buffer.

Role players stepped up for Perth.

NZer Jack Salt and UVA make it to the NCAA men's bball title game after suffering the ignomy of being the first 1 seed to be bounced in the first round last year. They will play Texas Tech after they won through against the final 4 favourite Michigan State

I couldn't find a tall blacks thread so I put it here

    https://stuff.co.nz/sport/basketball/113452111/steven-adams-included-in-tall-blacks-world-cup-squad-availability-talks-ongoing

Steven Adams one tiny step closer to playing in the black singlet

A squad of Adams, Loe, Pledger, Vukona, Delany, Fotu, Abercrombie, Ngatai, Te Rangi, Ili, + the Webster bros would be pretty sweet for the tournament. People tell me that Adams long-time mentor now works for Basketball NZ so he's pretty much guaranteed to play.

Just saw our pool: Greece, New Zealand, Brazil and Montenegro. Am I wrong in thinking this will be a tough pool?

    Is that Kenny McFadden?

Could be Kenny G for all I know, but apparently he's now on the inside as opposed to being out in the cold.

This would be a coup for the Breakers, but still a long shot.

The article says Noah averaged 7.1 points and 5.7 rebounds per game for the Grizzlies during the 2018-19 season.

Look what Bogut did with Sydney compared to his NBA stats.

He’s had the knee and heel issues over the last couple of seasons, but the little I saw him play last season he actually was pretty effective. He’s got that hook shot down and is still a very good rebounder.

He could bring a bit of toughness to the Breakers if the owners can pull it off.

First the Breakers signed rising Chinese NBA Global Academy star Terry Li, and now the new coach and assistant coach confirmed, along with American 6'7" shooting guard Scotty Hopson.
