Sam Darnold had a great outing at his pro day overnight - despite it raining throughout. He didn't throw at the Combine so all eyes were on him and he delivered.
He would have to be the favourite to be drafted #1 overall. With Cleveland though you never know.
The Browns owner was talking with Darnold's family while he worked out - seems to be a lock to be the number 1 pick. If he isn't the Giants will probably take him but right now it looks like they will be drafting DE Chubb with their pick after trading one-handed Jason Pierre-Paul.

Terrelle Pryor signing with the Jets means that they now have the top QB, RB and WR... from the 2016 1-15 Brown's. Even more remarkable, none of those signings look that bad! (although not great either, and depends on the money for Pryor).
Giants shipping out JPP is an interesting one. Drafting Chubb is one possibility. Equally they could be switching to rebuild and stockpiling draft picks with the opportunity to draft a top 2 qb. Feels like everyone in the league is falling in love with qb class. Will this be 1983 or 1998?

He was bad in Miami. Was that about him losing it or the Dolphins?
For some reason, that's the perception, but he was still really good in Miami.
In the last 3 years, these were his rankings in key stats amongst all defensive tackles.
Sacks: 5th
QB Hits: 4th
QB Hurries: 2nd
Total Pressures: 4thHe's also close to the best amongst DTs as a run defender.
Alongside Aaron Donald, QBs will struggle to have much of a pocket against the Rams.

Suh was bad for Miami relative to his contract/expectations. I think he was the highest paid defensive tackle in the league, but his production didn't match the pay cheque.

This was a case of the contract being bad, but not the player. He was still a top DT, but the contract was just so big, it was always a tough one to live up to. The only DT who could probably play up to that contract is Aaron Donald.

The Rams are turning it around very quickly but here's hoping it implodes with too many alpha-males in the locker room.

A bit of an update on league boy, Jordan Mailata, who is trying to get drafted. Apparently he did well at his pro day.
I can see him being an undrafted free agent and just being a camp body, but hard to see him being anything more. His athleticism for his size will be intriguing for some teams to want to at least take a look at him.
I'm wondering what position they'd try him out in. You'd normally associate someone with his size with either an offensive tackle or defensive tackle.
