What did Jacko just say to Cruden?
Something like "Don't talk like that to ... ? ... again, or I'll bin you"
And Cruden takes the first opportunity to apologise.
TJP - take note... first of all, don't be a dick. Secondly - if it slips out, apologise. -
Without making judgments about that particular ruling, I really don't like the partisan nature of the TMOs. Particularly in South Africa.

I guess it's consistent to give YC for 'shoulder against head' contact, but it shows this rule is over the top.
Edit: After some thought, the YC was unfair. YC/RC is for intentional or reckless. This looked accidental. Penalty would have been enough.

Come on Jaco.
Fuck you TMO!!!!
Yeah - Jaco trying his best to be sensible, the TMO... well...

Jaco seems fine... I'm not particularly optimistic about the assistants or TMO though.

And Japan... but obviously not with such an impact on games.
But yeah, at Super Rugby level, I assume that "up and coming", or "next tier" refs are being used as Assistants and TMOs... which is fair enough. But as such, I'd want to see more decisiveness from the "senior" ref on the field, and over-ruling them when required.
Sure - in the past people have ridiculed the on-field ref when he's over-ruled the TMO, but I think that's better than an "apprentice" having the power to change a game, with the more experienced guy letting it go for the sake of not ruining their confidence.
