BIL v Barbarians, Whangarei 3rd June 2017

Thought I'd start a thread as my tickets just arrived. Can't bloody wait - taking the whole whanau down to what will be a packed Okara Park.
Spoiler Alert: The Lions win
Okara's great fun when it's full. Was there for the Tonga Canada game in RWC2011 and it was one of the best rugby games of the tournament. A real battle of contrasting styles, watched sitting down on a grass bank. Loved it!

How long until someone pulls you up for not having the home team first in the thread title?
Really looking forward to this one too, will be a great day in the Rei!!

@nzzp yeah got my tickets on Monday, should be a full house! Hopefully the tour groups on-sell tickets though, unlike the RWC where it was full, and people walking the streets asking to buy tickets, and then there were lots of pairs or few seats scattered about where tour groups had bought blocks but failed to sell.
Atmosphere with Tonga at the RWC was awesome, expect the BILs to bring their own flavor!
Just checked my crystal ball, weather's gonna be mint!

Or rather: there is already a thread for this game: http://www.thesilverfern.com/topic/1456/nz-provincial-barbarians-v-b-i-lions/17
Maybe they can be merged?

23 million TV viewers to watch the Lions play in Whangarei (Northern Advocate Article)
An estimated 23 million television viewers throughout the world will watch the British and Irish Lions' opening match against New Zealand Provincial Barbarians at Toll Stadium in Whangarei.
Preparations are under way to erect temporary stands to cater for 22,000 fans, including up to 2000 Lions' fans, at the ground on game day - the largest crowd since the new grandstand was built before the 2011 Rugby World Cup.
