Stormers v Chiefs

Had a quick relook of that try
It went 15, 11, 15, 11, 13, 6, 11, 6, 14
-
Yessss, another one to Pulu!
-
I love the smell of a Chiefs try in the morning..
-
ALB playing well
Big break by DMac who held calm and sent Pulu in for a double

It's even better with a beer on a sunny afternoon
-
Bloody hell DMac is playing ok
-
Bruno having a big game for the Stormers today.
-
Very good try to the Stormers. Have been very patient.
-
Chiefs have bit of the Blues. Playing really well but making their mistakes at the wrong times and places.
-
@Stargazer Rubbish Stormers skewed that scrum
-
Bloody Hika has mammary hands today.
-
@Crash Even if that were true (I can't be bothered to check), no ref is perfect. That doesn't mean that Peyper is in anyway a home town ref in this game as suggested by your comment "Peyper is playing well for the Stormers". In fact, he's been reasonably good except for where he should have given a second yellow to the Stormers for intentionally slapping down that ball.
-
Fuck. Got to applaud that one.
-
Damn, I hope the Stormers are not going to walk away with that now. Another try. 34-21
-
good try Stormers. Fuckers
-
Chiefs set move was half a second out in timing and it costs them big.
-
Good to see McNicol back on the paddock. That has been a long time to get back from concussion.
-
That ALB, McNichol centre pairing has happened.
-
Try time! James Lowe!
-
I still don't get where the stories of Elliott being a dickhead come from. Sure, he can do the odd 'angry face' at times but did you see him just switch out of game mode for a moment to have a chat with the ball boy and make sure he was having a good time?
-
That's offside FFS
-
On the evidence of this game the Boks should just select the Stormers and build from there.
-
That Stormers 14 looks classy
-
That Stormers player was in the Chiefs backline
-
Well played Stormers. Good game.
-
That was a tired effort
-
Chiefs deserved at least that losing bonus point, but it wasn't meant to be. Great game Stormers, but Chiefs were good, too.
-
I'm not sure who else from the NZ sides plays the Stormers but they will have the benefit of the Chiefs being the guinea pigs. All the more the reason the Chiefs needed to take points from that game.
Some good watching though. -
great game, awesome crowd, pity not to get a bonus point. Cruden will be a real loss next year. Well played D Mac.

Some good watching though. The Blues play them in SA.

Not sure about that (except at the end). Chiefs payed the price for some injuries meaning they didn't go into he game well set up with some newbies being thrown out there at times plus TKB having to play 80.
The sharpness was certainly getting dull by the end.
But that's Super Rugby. Injuries etc at the wrong time can derail you easily. On the other hand sometimes you get lucky and all the shit comes when you are playing the easy sides. -
James Lowe was massive and my Chiefs MOTM. Big loss losing a guy of his ability next year.
-
@Stargazer Agreed - Felt the Chiefs played well enough to take at least a point, but on the positive side they will be better for the loss and will hopefully take some lessons from that
-
Anyone else feel that was the quietest game in a while from BBBR? He was a little off and when he is on it brings so much to the Chiefs game in frustrating the opposition.
-

@Crucial I actually thought Bird was the quiet one of the two locks.
Fair enough. That's why I asked. I noticed Bird more than BBBR but then again I don't tend to watch the grunt work as much as I'm usually watching with a back's eyes and looking at the possibilities away from the ruck
