    @Stargazer heard on the radio that Pryor had been flown with Osborne and Wheeler, so assume he has been dropped form the injured team.

    @taniwharugby Maybe, although this is from the Highlanders own media release. Maybe he's close to returning and only there in case someone injures himself during warm-up.

    Well, they'll need someone in the midfield to catch the ball....

    Tony Brown did what Tana couldn't do last year...drop Tevita Li.

    Odd decision to put Tomkinson on the wing instead of Faddes. Tomkinson looks and plays like an out and out midfielder to me.

    I have no idea who Tomkinson is - and I'll admit I was surprised when I saw his photo in the OP after reading the thread first. Who does he play for?

    Oh no....deja vu all over again!

    Mark Hammett not pushing panic button despite Highlanders' underwhelming start

    They're mixing with perennial strugglers such as the Western Force and Cheetahs on the competition ladder, but Highlanders assistant coach Mark Hammett insists there is no need to hit the panic button.

    One win from their opening four games has the Highlanders at the bottom of the New Zealand conference and already lagging well behind the Chiefs, Crusaders and Hurricanes.

    But despite the less than desirable start to the season - the Highlanders have the same amount of competition points (five) as the Southern Kings - Hammett maintains all is well at Highlanders HQ.

    Hang on. Two weeks ago Tana was being chided for not keeping Li.

    Great point.
    Tana is obviously a coaching genius, just look at his results this year.

    Hey, I'm just pointing out what has been written in these hallowed forums.
    After Li had a good game, Tana was an idiot to let him go.. now Li has been dropped the decision is one Tana should have taken a year ago.

    @Crucial

    Did @Dice make the comment?

    Or did two different people have two different criticisms of Umaga?

    @Duluth Obviously came across wrong then. I was simply making a light comment about something I found humorous.
