For a pretty shit cricketer CDGH is really good.
His test batting and bowling averages are currently pretty close to Sir RJ Hadlee's!
Meanwhile poor old de Bruyn gets run out in shambolic circumstances.
He's watching the ball and runs straight into Amla and they both fall over - leaving Theunis stranded.
Exactly my point. Outstanding for a guy who we all had pegged as the 'classic' bits and pieces NZ 'all rounder'

Ahh - you're actually being serious?
It was possibly better when I thought you were joking!
I'll believe in him more if he's got the same bowling average and lifted the batting into the 30s after 30 tests.

He creates an interesting selection dilemma for Southee in particular.
Not sure how CdG will go offshore in Tests, but he'd be a dangerous bowler on a tour of England.
Back to the game at hand: now for Jeets and CDG to run through the Saffas.

JP almost possessed with the spirit of Hansie! Shoulders arms and lets Jeets bowl him!
-
Yeah - we're being rewarded for some gritty efforts.
JP completely deceived by Jeetan's guile - he plays for non-existent turn and the ball goes straight ahead and bowls him.
Faf, Bavuma and de Kock...and then the bowlers. They'll need some good contributions or some shit Tron weather to escape!

Somewhere on the other side of the world, @gollum is stirring in his sleep... "Jeetan! I knew he could do it!"

The way the Jaapies have gone so far, I'd like a shot at rolling my arm over!
