How the fuck can the Roosters sign Tedesco on what i imagine is big money (especially if they had to out-bid the 'dogs)? Their backline has Gordon (rep player), SKD (rep player), Mitchell (one of the best young talents in the comp), Ferguson (rep player), Tupou (former rep player), Cleary (wouldn't have been cheap), and Pearce (rep player).
In the forwards they've got Cordner (rep player, probably NSW captain, and maybe the best backrower in the comp), Guerra (rep player), Warea-Hargreaves, Friend the captain won't be on small money, Napa (will be a rep player this year).
That's an astounding amount of big name talent for one team to have. They will have to unload, but how many? SKD will go probably, but there is no way he's on as much as they are paying Tedesco.
Someone call the auditors

Nothing has been signed by Foran and Bulldogs yet but talks are happening. Same goes with Tedesco.
Basically Bulldogs reps and Roosters reps (along with other Sydney clubs) will be going to the Sydney media and telling them "maaaatteee, we signed this guy and that guy" in the hope it eliminates rivals from the signing race.
It was interesting hearing Jim Doyle talk about the NRL rumour mill. He said only yesterday had all the clubs been notified about what the salary cap will be in 2018 and that 260+ players are currently coming off contract.
If Warriors lose Foran (likely) and Matulino (less likely but still) then all focus needs to go on signing James Graham. He becomes signing target #1. Resign Lillyman to a short-term deal and go with Graham, Lillyman, Gavet, Lisone and Vete as your frontrow options in 2018. Maybe even inquire about James Maloney for 2018 (or Josh Reynolds if you have a simple game plan).
We really need a proper off-season ala NFL.

@Sneakdefreak Damn, cheering for Graham will be harder than cheering for Tate when he first came to the Warriors.
-
Fucking golden point. At one end manly are 5m offside trying to stop the field goal, no whistle.
Then the refs find a penalty at the other end for manly to win.
-
@mariner4life I didn't care either way until that little english fool and Joey Leilua started carrying on like dickwads so I was happy Many won in the end.

How can you tell it's Friday night? The Broncos are playing, and getting the benefit of some suspect reffing to win a game
-
Widdop resigns with Dragons for four years. St George is now committing a ton of cap space to Widdop/Hunt.

Bunnies supporters are going mental on bookface.

Just watched the highlights. The Milford-held-up-over-the-line-no-wait-you-can-now-throw-the-ball-out-when-on-the-ground-try was a shocker, but to follow it up with a Milford-knock-on-oh-just-have-a-droppie-anyway-drop-goal makes you suspect something else is at play.

Gubb out, Big Ben Matulino in for tonight's game.
-
Keep ur eye on big Nelson ,
Really coming on , turning into a beast ,
must be getting close to kiwi selection in the starting 17
-
20-14 to the Storm. Good game, some positives to take from it for the Warriors.
-
Some thoughts:
- It's official - Warriors confirm that Ben Matulino has signed with Wests for 2018. Time to roll out the welcome mat for James Graham.
- Another classic game but Warriors ran out of juice in the final 15 minutes. Warriors will win on the return leg.
- Although a loss, the Warriors are only two points out of the top 8. And some teams (Dragons etc) will tumble out quickly.
- Luke played well but Roache isn't the best fit with him. Tevaga would be and should be.
- Although Matulino is leaving, Gavet is doing his best impersonation of Mutts. Great catch in the air too.
- Don't care what anyone says - that Melbourne wing was out.
- Where is that Wellington Hurricanes PR guy who was fapping himself to death over Nelson Asofa-Solomona in 2016? NAS was MVP tonight and should be in line for a Kiwis jersey, which will piss off WHPR guy (fap, fap)
- Shaun Johnson was laying in the hits tonight. Smacked Slater around a few times.
- Ken Maumalo = mediocre. Lacks the speed and power to be a wing in the NRL. Chanze Nichol-Klostad or Tui Lolohea.
- Quick turn around this week, Roosters on Sunday. Expect a few guys to suffer on the turn around (Kata in particular who left the field injured)
