Good idea for a thread. Wish I'd got a photo of myself from my mid uni days when I was tipping the scales at 118kg vs the 100kg that I am now.

RB, I was about to say that the dark-red head/ginge-beard two-tone head plus sow-belly white skin could only come from one place on earth. yes, the next day I was back to 88 kilos, and trying to play hooker at that weight didn't work, so ended up flanking, and raising to the lofty heights of Valley Bs as a seven, before getting big enough to join the ranks of the tight five again the following season, after doing the weights, but not the dieting. I followed that bad eating plan for the next 15 years with spectaular results, as can be seen by the other photo :coolsmiley:

Never been north of 93, and I still ended up playing a few games as a Senior Seconds tighthead at 82. Simply because I could and there was an injury run on. The heaviest Ive been was 122kgs which I rolled in at about two years after I finished playing rugby and six months before starting BFL. My playing weight was between 105-110kgs and am finally sitting back around there now. My goal is to get under the tonne for the first time in about 15 years to make life with my reconstructed cruciates a little smoother. Luckily my love affair with weights and a great new gym up the road will work to my advantage. Just need to write DISCIPLINE in bold on the fridge and stay away from all the little treats, (particularly the deep fried variety) that have been my lifelong nemesis. -
