Might be a good toss to lose. Otherwise batting first should be the default. Talk of it being bouncy but no sample size to see how it plays.
This is the reason why I'm not a fan of drop in pitches.

Same here! Ok for ODI and T20 but not a fan for tests

Saw India paying $2.50 and went to load up until I saw no Rohit and no Ashwin.
I would have loaded up more when I saw no Rohit (Soshit Harmer).
He averages less than 25 away from home.
Ashwin is a loss even though Jadeja is a decent alternative.

As nobody knows anything about this pitch, Tim Paine's comment "expect it will crack up a bit" is optimistic, given that forecast. Pitch is supposedly green, and India will have 4 quicks on high rotation in this heat. Yadav might leak a few runs, but he's got a bit of menace about him with his tail up.

Couple of weeks by the looks?
Do we have the same comms?

Promising start from the Aussies, 300+ puts them ahead of the game.

Dumbest comment I have heard so far from Comms team.
"If they make some runs in this first innings they will be right in this test match"
Lol that's some 90s black caps level trauma right there.
'if we bowl them out for less than 250 our batsmen might not fuck it up'.
