"Cheika meanwhile sensationally took Argentina to the semi-finals of the World Cup for the first time and has never hidden his desire to coach the Wallabies again."
Sensationally?
I guess the previous time they made the semis wasn't sensational enough, given that the author has obviously forgotten all about it
It's corect because it's the first time Cheika took them to the semis...

More of this will help the grassroots of the game.
Smart move, capitalising on the fact that the private school rugby scene in Melbourne is smallish compared to AFL.
Further, you are going to get a lot more Pasifika kids at public schools because - like Western Sydney - the outer suburbs in particular are that demographic.
Further, it seems from that video that they're connecting local schools players with junior clubs. What a profound concept My local schools don't even know our club exists, despite multiple attempts to contact them.
So I'm burning a few hundred in Facebook advertising and my own time putting video together to get the message out there....

Speaking of international coaches who will coach anywhere, what is John Mitchell doing?
Red Roses I think
Yes, he is currently in New Zealand with the team (as an observer) before he takes up new role at the end of this tournament.

Strong in this one is the cognitive dissonance

In other news Machpants has also ruled himself out of coaching the lions. He was understood to be slightly preferred to Eddie in the lions role

Yes, but you're not a shit-bag charlatan.

Oh, and if you want an illustration of how fucked rugby is in Australia, and why it's actually going to die
I registered my 12 year old son for his 2 month season up here. $90
That came with a breakdown.
$5 went to his club
Much much more was the QRU and ARU levy. 12 year olds are paying to prop up elite rugby, not the other way around.Compare that to league and AFL and wonder where kids are going to play
Jeez, that's outrageous.
I checked locally and it's £75 for a whole, 8 month season, with £40-ish going to the club and the rest going to the RFU and insurance

Wonder if RA look at Mick Byrne as a coach for Wallabies? Doing good job with Drua, been involved with ABs and Wallabies and apparently an incredible rugby brain.
Yes, yes, all very impressive. But does Hamish McLennan like his ability to pull headlines?

Justin Harrison is a plague - the king of corporate buzzwords who is also head of RUPA and a Stan Commentator on the review panel - that will go well.
Recommendation #1: Give more money to players.

Ex-England and Australia head coach Eddie Jones has ruled himself out of contention for the vacant British and Irish Lions role.
He certainly has, inadvertantly.
