@KiwiMurph I'm sure they all get enough time to impart their knowledge, fix issues, etc.

Definitely clear lines of responsibility too...

Does Dan Palmer's job consist of getting forwards to turn up to lineout and maul sessions?

That's a lot of voices in players' ears.

Angus Gardner was on The Roar Podcast - worth a listen to understand what refs actually do away from the field in terms of performance etc.

Perth rugby player cops 96-game ban for shoulder charge on ref

The suspension, reported to be one of the longest handed down in club rugby, will mean the player won't be able to play for nearly five years.

If it was an accident, you'd think he'd show a little concern or remorse immediately after the fact. Looked deliberate to me.

Waratahs prepare Sydney farewell for Hooper as Olympics loom on horizon

Waratahs prepare Sydney farewell for Hooper as Olympics loom on horizon

Michael Hooper is set to play his last game for NSW at home next week. But the veteran’s future is still to be decided, with a sevens swansong in Paris a live option.

Good decision to cash in now. His form has dropped away in the last 12 months.

Do you think he'll still be the starting 7 for the Wallabies this year? Or has he been passed by others?

never thought, at test level, he was any more than "good" but by christ his effort and desire to win was elite. If a few more of his Wallaby teammates had the same intensity as him they would have done a lot better over the years. Gave absolutely everything for the jersey.

I never understood Wallaby supporters who didn't want him in the team.

He has been nothing less than 'very good' for Australia and is often 'excellent'
