Rugby Australia has announced a remarkable $8.2 million surplus at its 2022 Annual Meeting.

But it is intriguing as to why he's leaving, I wonder if we'll ever find out?

There may be an avenue for France via 7s (if he holds nationality) but hasn't he stated that he is available for Oz?

I am pretty sure that new rule says you can only go to another country that you have a clear link with. Unless he has french ancestry he can't play for France.

World Rugby approves birthright amendment for players to transfer unions | World Rugby

The World Rugby Council has approved an amendment to the sport’s regulations governing national team representation that will now permit an international player to transfer once from one union to another subject to demonstrating a close and credible link to that union via birthright.
