The Cadbury Wallabies...
Rugby Australia have unveiled a new principal partner for the first time in 30-years with chocolate giant Cadbury partnering with the Wallabies and Wallaroos until 2026.
Cadbury's logo will adorn the new Wallabies jersey for their first Test against France in Sydney, taking up the position former partner Qantas held for 30 years.
Cadbury will also be a major partner of the Wallaroos, taking up pride of place on the Wallaroos shorts.
Good result for Cadbury I reckon. Where don't they sell product?
(Sorry for the serious post .. )

@booboo Whittaker's kinda get a win here as well. Kiwis see the Cadbury logo on the Wallabies and say fuck that.
Also apparently Cadbury products are banned in the U.S?
actually with that logic, it might be a bad move by cadbury if it negatively impacts their strong market share in NZ
Mondelez won't be happy if it fails.........unlikely though..still think its positive

At least the biggest drama with the sponsor is palm oil and some “funny” memes, not a government bailout or a bank that the government has bailed out
And as for straight up design not bad, no big green box or a bastardised version like we had with AIG
Whittaker’s had done some good marketing before, they’ve done some all blacks choc, wouldn’t be surprised to see a little more, maybe sponsor training strip?

@bayimports Cadbury's market share in NZ has been declining for years due to a series of poor decisions by Mondelez (e.g., the closing of the Dunedin factory, using palm oil, reducing the size of their king size blocks, moving product manufacturing to Aust). Meanwhile Whittakers regularly tops NZ's most trusted brand list.
Kiwis will have another reason to boycott Cadbury.

there aren't many things more overrated than the Peanut Slab
some of the other stuff is pretty good though. They have a salted caramel that's great. And as for the Jelly Tip...

Falling yes, still relatively strong even after damage looking at net revenue in NZ compared to all others in the confectionary business, dont get me wrong @Bovidae I agree with your points especially around trust. Whittakers has been a huge success regardless.
