Another great game tonight with raiders starting strong as expect but sharks reigned them back in to win 16 - 14. Massive effort

Next game should be good too and I reckon it could be a preview of the grand final

@JK what did you think about that penalty that put the Sharks ahead? I thought it was a bit rough.

@ACT-Crusader yep rough! Funny how they award that stuff in normal time but wouldn't dare in golden point

Penrith Panthers roll the Doggies. Could Hasler be on the way out?

Foran signs with the Warriors. Don't know how many games he'll play (I predict five) but good signing if he pulls it together.

    I hope it's for cheap.

Are we all happy the Dogs are gone? Fuck off you boring grubs. Only Cronulla to bounce out now and the finals are worth watching.

Pleased to see Penrith playing well.

I don't think everyone hates them as much as you do. They were my favourite team in the 90s (not now though). But, TBH I don't care who's left now. 🙂

I hope we get Foran, so we can see if anyone can organise this team.

@Sneakdefreak Interesting signing - possibly a really good one.

People can suffer from depression, but a bit of time out and into a new environment (or especially out of an old one) and they can quickly be back on the horse and good as new.

I have no idea what was going on with Savea - quite likely nothing like Foran - but, on Saturday night he was a different player to the one we saw a couple of months ago.

Signing Foran is quite a coup if he's managed to address whatever the problems were in his life. He's a remarkably talented footballer.

Last I read the Warriors are saying Foran has not yet signed. Also read Kearney is in. Not sure about Kearney. He makes weird Kiwi selections so I am not holding my breath.

@Crazy-Horse Other reports had Kearney not wanting to leave the Brisbane setup which he is comfortable in. But this does confirm that Warriors are looking for a new coach and Cappy is (probably) gone this week.

Even as someone who pays fuck all attention, Kearney would seem to be a terrible selection.

If they pick Kearney I fear we will remain in the doldrums for another few years

@canefan It's hard to know how good Kearney really is without Bennett in his corner. He wasn't a success at the Eels, and his Kiwis stint has been mixed.

If Doyle can't find a marquee replacement Kearney would be more acceptable to the RL public, and to the players, than another no-name coach.

I tend to think Kearney to the Warriors is high risk for Kearney and the kiwis ,

Too many eggs in one basket

@kiwiinmelb I think he'll have to resign the Kiwis job first. Kearney hasn't won anything without Bennett close by, and I worry he'd be too close to many of the players to kick their butts the way they need to be
