<p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Thought this deserved a separate topic, especially because the results are worrying. I have copied some info from several websites, because the HBRU doesn't keep theirs up-to-date.</span></span></p>

<div><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>HB Tuis</strong></span></span></div>
<div><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">They finished last in the Women's NPC last year, so the union just pulled them from the competition this year, supposedly to re-build a team with the aim of introducing a more competitive team in next year's WPC. That will obviously only work if they will finally give women's rugby the proper funding to implement their <a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='https://www.facebook.com/hawkesbaymagpies/posts/1216721178368621'>plan</a>.</span></span></div>
<div><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">They played two "tri-series" (2x 40 minutes games v two different opponents). On Sat 23/7, they lost <span style="color:#ff0000;">7 - 21</span> to Manawatu and beat BOP <span style="color:#66cc00;">10-7</span>. I couldn't find the results of their games on Sat 30/7 when they played Manawatu and Wellington.</span></span></div>
<div>As far as I know, there are no further games scheduled for the women's team in 2016.</div>

<div>Their next game is on Sat 3/9 v Manawatu U18 (Tremain Field, 1.00pm).</div>
<div> </div>

<div> </div>
<div><strong>HB U14</strong></div>
<div>Their first game is on Sun 4/9 in Palmerston North v Taranaki.</div> -
At last some good new, albeit against a team that is selected from players that are not wanted by either Wellington Lions, Wellington Development or Wellington Under 19s and possibly a few other rep teams as well. Still they do have a good number of capable players to pick from. I hear Wgtn Samoans did manage to beat the Bay Samoans a week or so ago. Can you confirm anything about that please Stargazer?0

Yes, Wellington Samoans beat Bay Samoans 40-24 last Saturday.
HB Samoans will play Horowhenua-Kapiti Samoans on Saturday, 24 September. -
More results:
The U19s beat the Hurricanes Barbarians U19 76-0.
Because they lost to both Wellington and Manawatu, they will play in the bottom half of the Jock Hobbs Memorial Tournament, where they'll first play Southland on Wednesday. The U18 girls lost 64-7 to the Wellington U18 girls.
The U16 "A" boys beat Wellington U16 "A" 32-22.
The U16 Development team lost to Wellington U16 Dev 60-5.I couldn't find the result of the U14s.
Bit of a mixed bag this weekend, but at least not all teams lost.

The Magpies may end up being our shittiest rep team, because:

Hawke’s Bay Development (10) - (62) Wellington U16 Development
Wellington U16 (45) - (3) Poverty Bay U16

-
Both Bay teams finished 3rd in their division at the Hurricanes U16 Tournament.
In division A, the HB U16 team beat Poverty Bay 33-0.
HB U16 Dev defeated Wairarapa Bush 22 to 7 in division B.Wellington won both divisions with their A team and their Dev team.
The HB Saracens suffered a big loss in their last game of the year to Canterbury Dev: 15-43 (HT: 10-17). Apparently, Canterbury scored 4 tries in the last 20 minutes. Saracens halfback Karl Hewitt tore his biceps at the beginning of the game and was due for surgery tonight.
As far as I know, all official rep teams have now played all their games for the season.
Only the HB Samoa team (not part of the HBRU) still have games to play. -
