Is this in Australia first up?

Will give us a bit of a line on the Springboks (Who I think look rubbish)

Yes, that's why I named the thread Wallabies v Springboks and not Springboks v Wallabies.
The game is in Brisbane (Sat 10/9, 10.05pm NZT).

What are you going to do for the Argentina v Australia game at Twickenham? 🤔

That's a home game for the Argies.

Are they that shallow in the centres with Gits and Toomua out or is Chieka taking some coaching lessons from Toddy playing his best 10 at 12?

@Unco Clearly you haven't spoken with any Queenslanders. Quade is our best 10 😉

No Fardy? They still think that's the problem with their lineout and backrow - Fardy? Putting Foley at 12 instead of Kerevi is madness. Quade operates better on attack if he has someone threatening the line running straight so he can throw a bullet pass to a wider runner.

DHP has been exposed a number of times on the wing now, he's much better at fullback.

Be interesting to see how easily Etzebeth niggles Coleman into a YC.

Sometimes it's easier to ignore mariner.

Would a backline of Genia, Foley, Hodge, Kerevi, Kuridrani, Folau, Cooper be out of the question? Quaaade can't tackle for shit and needs more space to work with, soooo...

That backline would be pretty dangerous NTA, maybe swap Folau and Kuridrani though ?

    Don't mind that.

This talk of Folau at centre kind of ignores the fact that if he "needs to get his hands on the ball" he can bloody well join at any phase.

Good point. 8 months ago I was convinced. I'm really not now.

I'll be hoping for a SA win here. Can't believe Cheika stuck with the Foley at 12 selection.

Lets just hope one of the wobblies gets cited for eye gouging. The meltdown would be spectacular. They might even quit rugby.

Actually I'm really hoping one of the Argies gets done for eye-gouging for waving his hands in the general direction of Kieran Read. 🙂

I guess that as long as the Wallabies show humility Marto and Kafe will be happy. 🎪

And Beale who was probably playing his best rugby before he got injured.

But Foley's form is poor and Quade is largely an unknown quantity at this point in terms of his international form.

But the biggest problem isn't necessarily with the players but the structure and gameplan or lack thereof.
