Liking the pick and goes. Even Simpson did one!

    Beehre having a strong game

Auckland still spluttering along. Plenty of guys playing well but it’s all disconnected. It feels like preseason performances week after week

@Kirwan Simpson is very good considering his age. Wish we’d trusted him earlier in the season

By the way Northland fans, Beehre just dropped going into a tackle and was tackled around the head. That’s a penalty right?

Or perhaps it happens 100 times game.

We are doing well to be so far ahead with this ref only looking one way. Southland players are not rolling away.

Good try Southland. Off the back of a classy 50/22

Second time I’ve seen Sullivan bring held to the ground after play has moved on.

Our halfbacks box kicks are dwarf sized.

His pass is inconsistent too. The coaches don’t trust the next halfback so he subs off very late

The Funaki injury has had a big impact

Frustrating watching our halfback take 3 business days to clear the ball.

New halfbacks pass looks decent. Start him next game

That new 9 needs more minutes - for his excellent hair if nothing else.

It's much more palatable watching this Auckland team now they are giving young players with a future a chance.

Also - Lam really does suit 12. If AB selectors had any brains he would be playing in Wellington next weekend
