DID NOT SEE THAT COMING
And if Loelesi could kick it would have been easier
Argies look much better when they play 15 man rugby
Argies tried to shut up shop and it put too much pressure on their pack.
Solid win by the Wallabies in what was a very stop start game.
Schmidt debutante watch: Hamish Stewart who seems to have been around for ages gets test footy under Schmidt. That’s 13 debutantes this year for the Wallabies.

Loelesi is a handbrake
Time to throw Lynagh into the Lion’s Den
Then the Lions series

He doesn’t seem to play with any sort of surety or confidence. It’s almost painful to watch.
Lynagh will create more and yeah he might make some errors but he’s the future that needs to be fast tracked now.
Would be awesome for him to repeat what his old man did in 89 and start at 1st 5 against the Lions next year.

Surprised Edmed isn't getting a mention.

Next year he will be fighting it out with one of the U20 and establishment golden boys in Jack Bowen, who I personally don't rate at this point.
Both will have a better forward pack to play behind, so interesting to see what the outcome is.
Prefer Edmed

Was a cracking win. Very happy. In Argentina, in those conditions, in this economy? Brilliant.
Our pack was superb. Lineout and scrum functioned perfectly, and they muscled up at the ruck.
We're low on game-breaking talent but we are oversupplied with heart and brains at the moment. Generally the last ten years have been reversed in those categories.

There is also recently signed experienced 10 Creighton from QLD
Edmed and Creighton should mean Bowen can get experience here and there without being thrown to the wolves.

I was well impressed by the work ethic of the forwards in that last 10 minutes. Hunted as a pack getting good carry cleans in some fairly average weather. The Argies on the other hand had loose carries and kept coughing up the ball.

Except for one ridiculous scrum penalty, which I think Doleman got from the AR on that side, and should never have been given.

Tizzano has 57 tackles in his first 3 Tests at 100% completion.
He's a fucking animal, that kid.
57 tackles at 100% suggests more of a machine than an animal. That's seriously impressive.
