Canterbury vs Wellington

Interesting that the last four times these two teams have played, they've all been in Christchurch. Wellington obviously aren't fazed as they've had a good recent record down in Chch (including the 2022 final win) but it's just odd that the teams don't alternate home and away each year.

including this game Canterbury have used 13 new un capped players for this NPC most 19 to 21 year olds
A few unfamiliar names in that lineup.

Surprised no one has commented on this game yet. Welly leading 31-0 at the break.
Harkin going great guns at 10 and Higgins has been ripping Canterbury a new one all day. Delany and Numia very strong and Lakai doing Lakai things aswell, simply dominating the likes of Harmon and Christie..
Jeez I hope the Canes coaches are looking at Harkin as our third 10. He would start based on this form.

Higgins Canes future 12. Also pls sign Harkin!!

Harkin has a great boot on him. That was really pleasing to see. Hopefully they stick with this backline throughout now.
Yeah and then Proctor off the bench instead of Solomon. He’s too young still IMO.

PUJ stood out (watched the second half). Really caught the eye.
Yeah he was very good, not surprising as he was back in his preferred 13 jersey instead of playing 12, it doesn’t suit him.
