Watching the games in Oz is insufferable, Channel 9 News in particular, virtually hijacked by reports on the games, reporting like no other country was in the Olympics and not even putting on much news. Gave a whole lot of their journalists including the weatherman a cushy gig in Paris.

Big pressure on Fisher now. After having beat Carrington in the lead up, she will expect much. But the Olympics are Lisa's party, I hope whatever happens we get a NZ 1-2, and I wouldn't bet against the Dame

11th on the medal table. With a solid haul of gold and silver. Think Germany is too far ahead to get any higher up.
