I went to watch the Harlequins-Thames Valley game. Sevens tries each with only two missed conversions (the first of the match and another in the 2nd half from wide out which hit the posts) being the difference. Harlequins led 35-26 at HT but both teams made heaps of changes for the 2nd half. TV should do well in the Heartland competition.

@mikedogz I went to watch the Waikato-Counties U19 game. That was a strange match as the HT score was only 14-12 after Waikato scored a try on 40 mins. Then CM scored straight after HT to take the lead again. After that, it became the Waisake Salabiau show as most of Waikato's tries were long-range. 10 converted tries in the end, some from out wide.
