Insomnia enabled me to watch both games. The Dutch much better than Romania once they had weathered the early storm but found many ways not to get a second goal. Should be too good for Turkiye who will continue to need goals from corners - that being said, Hakan 脟alhano臒lu is their class in midfield and he was suspended for today's game.
Austria certainly threw a lot towards the end and extra time would have been fair - fantastic save though.

All quarters as expected except I thought Austria would beat turkey. Spain still look the best team. I hope either them or Germany make the final as France and Portugal have been pretty tedious.
On the other side Dutch should get past turkey and hopefully Switzerland can keep up their good form and knock out England.

When Spain was all at sea they found Olmo. The difference between the 2 sides. Germany the better side after the first half but couldn鈥檛 find the decisive goal.

I hope Spain thrashes France. Neither France nor Portugal deserved a semifinal. France excellent penalties though. Should be the end of Ronaldo.

Looking at all the yellow cards in the Germany-Spain game, was it a spiteful game? Undecided if I bother watching a replay.
France can be so much better with the players they have. I thought that Portugal might sneak through once it went to penalties.
At least 2 of the yellows I saw were tactical. Didn't seem a particularly spiteful game.

It was niggly enough. Kroos absolutely should have got a YC for a nasty challenge early on that ended pedri鈥檚 game. This gane was much better than the second which was dreary.
