One from Dunedin which I enjoyed (and I was the one who heard it, so can voucher for its accuracy - no second hand info here):
I was walking along the footpath in George St, Dunedin in the early 2000s and Pita Alatini and Megan Cassie (now Alatini, but she was "famous" because of True Bliss), were casually crossing the road, not at the lights or a pedestrian crossing or anything. Nothing wrong with that really, but they didn't seem to care for the cars travelling along George St, and because of their slow saunter, they were forced to break into a jog for the final part of their crossing manoeuver.
Megan turned to Pita and said "well, they didn't show much respect".

Shayne's posts were great.
He was full of praise for lots of well-known coaches he'd played for. He was able to set the record straight about some false rumours that have emerged about the All Blacks 1991 World Cup campaign. He'd really enjoyed playing in and living in Japan. He came across well.
Sad that he's gone so soon.

Audio or it’s a lie 😉

It certainly stunned a few when he did rock up and started posting.
Had a few messages with him when he wa posting. In spite of some of the public backlash, the man loved his rugby and was genuinely proud to be an AB. He didn’t quite understand why he attracted the negativity he did, beyond the regular player criticism that came with being a pro.
Like others have said he had some really good posts that provided a unique insight into some of the goings with AB rugby and did it in a way that didn’t big note himself or break any confidences.
Condolences to his family and those close to him

That means all the "Day in the Life" post are gone...? Bugger.
Unless @BartMan or the people that wrote them still have them
If they do turn up, we should repost some old classics on the website
Might have 1 or 2 in the archives - remember emailing them to people.
