Yeah, it ain't great that City have dominated, but it's not like it's for 50 years. Liverpool, Man U have had similar eras in that timeframe.
Liverpool and Man U didn't try and change the rules so that the Forests and Villa's couldn't crash their party though. Which is precisely what City are trying to do.
They don't want Newcastle being able to do what they themselves did. They'd been in Tier 3 less than a decade before the Abu Dhabi money rolled in. They then bought a new team and ultimately the world's best Manager. Following the route taken by Chelsea a few years earlier.
Now they want to ensure no one else can do the same.
As a Fulham supporter I don't have skin in the game. Mid table mediocrity is just fine by me. For Fulham fans the joy comes from the occasional upset against the big boys and ironically being inept enough to drop points to Sheffield. The sheer stupidity of it all is what courses through our veins.
However, if I was a supporter of a bigger club with big aspirations like Newcastle (not West Ham they're just a middling club with delusions of grandeur) then I'd be livid.

Oi I won once and almost defended my title - or was that the WC.
I do remember getting my West African nations confused and tipping Togo to make the 1/4's.
Great comp guys and not too demanding timewise.
Don't bring me evidence to counteract my preconceived ideas! You did have a run of 1st, 3rd, 4th, 6th from WC 2010 to EURO 2016 before joining me in the making up number area.

From The Athletics Transfer DealSheet
Nottingham Forest are working on a deal with Red Star Belgrade to sign New Zealand international midfielder Marko Stamenic. Stamenic, who has 14 senior caps, would cost around £4.6million after impressing Forest while helping Red Star, or Crvena Zvezda, win the Serbian SuperLiga last season. If everything goes according to plan, he is expected to initially join Greece’s Olympiacos on a season-long loan, similar to other arrangements in the Evangelos Marinakis operation, with the Greek billionaire owning both clubs (Daniel Taylor)

It looked like he was going to Coventry the other day.

so 1 to 3 NZ players in the prem in a month? great for NZ if this goes through

The Fulham side he had in the Prem should never have been relegated.
Parker is Southgate on steroids only without the expansive attacking philosophy...
The article also says Fulham sacked Parker which is BS. He wanted us to sack him but we wouldn't. He still tried to screw us for compensation. Guys might look good in a cardi (debatable) and was a very good player but he's a piston wristed gibbon.
Why would Burnley persevere with Kompany and then go for a Manager who is the complete antithesis. Makes no sense.
