Marky Mark out is a smart call
    Beale in is not.

Aussies have loads of wingers to pick from. Mark Nawaqkjhlkdsfsdtawase is erratic, the fact he is leaving makes it an easy call

I don't mind the Beale selection. He made a huge difference to the Force. I assume Schmidt is going to go for the second play maker style of fullback.. loads of chat and take the pressure off of the flawed tens. Kellaway number one and Beale the injury cover?

I get that he's a squaddie. But he is still 35, and hasn't been a difference maker at test level since like 2011. Aussie need to build test quality depth pretty much everywhere, this seems like a wasted development spot.

Unless, of course, he's there to show some kids the ropes.

Avoiding the very error Slick Eddie made.

Didn't Willie le Roux play minutes in a RWC winning team at 34 last year? and even a few of their backs over 30 I think. Not something you traditionally see from Aus or NZ, but not necessarily the wrong thing if you're down on experience, at least you know he is likely to be focused on rugby and hardly unlikely to set foot in a Bondi bar anytime soon

It's also comprised of just Rebels and Waratahs players so if they want to run full training exercises, you really need to include at least two fullbacks...

How can Rugby Australia fit five into four after Rebels' demise?

How can Rugby Australia fit five into four after Rebels' demise?

The governing body must do everything in its power to find domestic homes for the Rebels' soon-to-be-unemployed squad.

Obviously the Tahs need to be successful, but RA really should do all in their power to have the Force become competitive.

What might get missed if people don't read the entire article is the analysis on the Rebels' defence. Highlighting how bad Tupou is.

A few numpties from Melbourne teeing off at RA for the situation now the rebels are done.

Yeah sure. Maybe have a word to your directors about their profligacy first, eh?

at least, in my experience so far...the number of people blaming the Rebels board/management far outweighs those blaming anyone else....right back to founding board and how little they did to engage with people in melbourne, from day one they were looking to buy success and hoped that would bring the fans. had someone explaining what the Storm did in comparison and it once again boggles the mind that people dont just copy the same approach

Taqele Naiyaravoro, Tim Anstee, Chase Tiatia, Ryan Coxon & Ben Funnell
