@KiwiMurph the Blues who always lose to the Saders when it matters.
I want to see the theory put to the test next week
-
@KiwiMurph don’t get me wrong if it comes down to it, I hope you knock them out. I think all of NZ do. And if it’s the Canes responsibility I’m sure most of the country will be backing them too.

@Chris what position you reckon, 6 or 7?
Yeah Both I think probably the bench option
Behind Savea,Finau and DP -
I went to the game tonight. Not a bad game of footy to watch.
But my god was the fan experience terrible. Some dickhead with the microphone trying to sing songs to get the crowd into it. It was actually quite cringe worthy.
The halftime entertainment was a partner carrying competition followed by a terrible island group dance. Then a try scoring and celebrating competition. My mates and I were like wtf were the organisers thinking.
How about getting an amazing group of Polynesian kids singing and dancing. -

Best halfback in NZ
He is one of a handful of good young 9s.
Lio-Willie, Hotham and Burke will be a great axis for the ABs this year.
I know a man that would select all 3….

That guy and also the female on the microphone need axed asap, just made the experience worse. Was watching from home tonight and you could hear him every now and then on the TV.

There must be some decent music acts in the South Island who could keep the crowd entertained with a couple of songs at half time?
-
@sparky 💯
I went to the warriors game and they had the St Thomas poly group. They were amazing.
It can’t be that hard to organise a band or singer.
I find with the guy on the microphone and constantly playing music, it’s hard for the crowd to create their own atmosphere. -
@chchfanatic yep, when the Drua played up here their fans were chanting and trying to get some atmosphere and the DJ/announcer kept playing music over top and drowning them out.

The types that organize rugby are at the low end of the taste spectrum when it comes to match entertainment.
Cringe all over NZ from what I've seen. -
@taniwharugby who thinks this is a good idea. Let the crowd create the atmosphere. Not sure about anywhere else in nz. But chch crowd are generally just clappers. Our crowd are pretty average. Me included.
-
@chchfanatic yea I think most Kiwi supporters (especially rugby?) would be similar...not sure that will change much and guess that's why we try to create atmosphere, which probably makes it worse, especially when you have some groups of fans who try to create it themselves, but our grounds attempts to create it kills thier attempts.
