I originally saw it as putting the Saders being put of their misery, but over the weeks it has become obvious to me it is the supporters of other teams that need to be put out of their misery with a Saders exit. There seems to be a fair bit of PTSD out there with people hoping they don't get to play the Saders in a quarter.
If we play the Saders in a quarter so be it. I don’t think the Canes will be trembling with fear if the current Crusaders crop rolled into town next week. A lot of these young guys in the team like Lakai haven’t lost to the Crusaders/Canterbury yet so they won’t be daunted at all.
I just want them to lose because they are the Saders and they don’t deserve to be competing for a title this year.

Yeah I wouldn't be worried either. It is a poor Crusaders team.

@KiwiMurph We also won out last round Robin game in 2022 against the Brumbies, so we've never lost in the last round of a regular season match......
