Which of the Blues first fives do you think we should poach?
I don't think they can hold onto all of Beauden, Plummer and Perofeta, when we can offer a starting berth to one!
I see Zarn Sullivan ending up at the Crusaders with the promise of playing 10...

I really hope not,Sullivan is not a first five imo.

@Chris I'm not too unhappy with halfback - Hotham has progressed to a point where he's clearly number one and already in the AB conversation - probably as much as Bryn Hall ever was. I wouldn't pick him yet, but he's promising enough to get there in the not too distant future.
Drummie is fine for another year - we just need to ensure the new guy we recruit is also very good bet to get to AB standard. Halfback has been one of our weaker positions in recent years.
I'm a bit annoyed with Fergus Burke signing offshore. Seems like he had a chance to be an AB contender, but he's taken the money without ever taking the shot.
Will be interesting what they do at first five.

Kemara has one more year on his contract and Reihana was only signed for one year,So a lot of work to be done in that space.

Reihana is OK as a number 2 option, but not who you'd want to be hanging your hat on. Kemara is probably OK as No. 3 - but he's still just a promising young 'un.
I reckon Dave Havili was better than both, but then we're shifting our best 2nd five, which is far from ideal.
Maybe we grab Carter Gordon from the Rebs?

Rebs need to beat Drua in Fiji, the Brumbies need to beat Force in Perth in addition to Saders getting win against MP.
That's almost the criteria for the Saders to make the 8.

While mathematically still possible, not that likely. If we finish with a big win, we could very well have the firepower to get another title.
It's one thing to make the 8. It's another to win 3 away games in the playoffs post Razor/Mo'unga/Whitelock etc
I don't think Crusaders have won 1 away game all season

I almost want to miss out. Going up to Auckland, against a blues team that will be fired up by being top dog in the playoffs, the recent loss and last year's hammering in the playoffs could be a recipe for one of our biggest losses. Still, I'll keep dreaming about a sudden form change and an insane run to the 8peat.

Just hoping we finish strong, now it is time to prepare for next year. Cannot see Rebs getting up in Fiji. Kind of have this feeling this campaign has been a kind of rest home for some of the Crusaders vying for higher honours. A lot will be fresh and uninjured and firing for Razor.
