Would really like to see the Highlanders just abandon the normal home jersey and we just wear the retro kit for the rest of the year. For starters, it is simply a better kit that the players and fans love... and of course we have a 100% win rate in it!

Another example of how rugby is still stuck in the amateur mindset. Let's have a heritage round and have all of the teams in their retro jerseys coz that will be cool, oh wait 🙄

@canefan yeah case in point last night, you’d think the Canes would have negotiated so that they would wear their heritage jersey against the Blues. If they wear it against Moana it would hold no meaning at all. Maybe they’ll wear it against the Chiefs the following week or against the Highlanders at home in the last round robin game.
