Was that another earthquake in Christchurch or just Phooey turning in his grave?

That is a dodgy call there. He said "release" player pulled his hands out and disrupted the ball. Should be a PK to Crusaders.
You could see mcnicholl lost control. You could say the same about the try that the crusaders were awarded when it shouldn’t have been. Can’t pick and choose when it suits
I wasn't whinging. I make comments about what I think are bad calls all the time without favour.
TBH I was in two minds about who I wanted to win that game anyway. Crusaders losing boost the Highlanders chances.
Sorry mate didn’t mean for it to come across like I was accusing you of whinging, not what I meant by it. I just think it was ‘football justice’, awarded a try that shouldn’t have been a try so a call or two that were marginal went the reds way.
That result is good for the highlanders and the drua but still 4 rounds to go, plenty of time.

Jeez social media full of one eyed fans crying. Complaining about a couple calls but ignoring their try that got awarded when it shouldn’t have been😂😂 Crusaders fans are something else when the shoe is finally on the other foot.
All fans whinge. Take a closer look at match threads on here.
Oh yeah I’m well aware of that, I’m guilty of it myself. My point was these spoiled crusaders fans have had it great for years and for a lot of younger fans it’s foreign territory, they’ve never experienced losing. In turn the complaining and whinging and what not is crazy to see.

Are we in agreement that David Havili fluffed his audition at 10?
I don't recall this place ever being in agreement on anything.
That aside, I think the jury is still out. He wasn't terrible.
I wouldn't want him on the AB's bench if our regular 10 went down with an achilles strain in the first minute of a test match.

Saders flattered to deceive against a team that's about to go into liquidation. Quionsland has confirmed this.

Wonder if they try Jordie again at 10. Havili could still play 10, not for a whole game.
Jordie is the same, an emergency measure. He was only there for emergencies. TBH I think Havili did fine outside of charge down, he'll learn

Was Havili good at 10?
He was very good in the first half, gained lots and lots of ground with his PK kicks for touch, distributed well. Second half was mediocre, the charge down was very bad, but other than that he was OK.
Crusaders lost it with their powder puff forwards, getting the ball stripped in general play and in contact.
Also wonder who Crusaders attack coach is, they look real confused, apart from give it to Reece and see what he can do.
Even Reece seems to be off his best to be honest
I think it’s because he’s having to do so much more than you would ordinarily want from your left winger. He’s either playing as a 2nd halfback or almost like a loose forward. We don’t create enough space for our outsides and he’s too good a player to not be involved.

Yeah he can't be godlike every game, bloody hard for him

Maths nerds, how many more losses before the crusaders are done and dusted?
How many more until Penney gets the arse?
First Reds win in Christchurch since 99 and the Crusaders' second loss to an Australian side in Christchurch since 2004.

I’m just assuming he’s already gone, might need a few others to join him.
