Blues were pretty average most of the game, their line out worst I've seen for ages. But I think they are a fuck load fitter, and it is telling
To be fair the defensive lineout has been OK.
Yes good point. Scramble defence was excellent throughout, too

@Machpants I think we played about 15 mins of good rugby tonight.
Glad we've finished our Aussie leg. We play a lot better at home.

Similar to canes game, tho at opposite ends. All that was needed

Is the ball different in NZ or something? Aussie teams so much better at home.
The most boringly predictable fact of rugby is that home advantage counts for a lot.
Isn't that the case in most sports? Why all teams like being at home, usually have support behind you etc, and a feeling of comfort on usual field. I don't really know a sport where teams like being away from home.

One thing I've noticed
Caleb's defence seems much better that previous times I've seen him live
He did have some bad misses though. ESPN says 4 in total of 12 tackles.

Darry definitely has improved this year. Better in contact
Lots of good weight added too. Hard selection call between him and McWhannell now

That's misleading - there weren't 4 bad misses - he was covering across and the Rebels winger was cutting back inside multiple times
