Christie not at 7 again. Injured or dropped?
Think this loose trio goes better personally and Kellow makes more impact at breakdown time.

Razor has asked to see Havilli at 10 and Penny has obliged

How's much experience at 10 in first class games does havili have?
One SR start in 2020. I think it's 0 at NPC level. He's moved there as a reserve too
He was mostly good in that 2020 game (v Chiefs)
-
I remember that game, he started really well then got a bit exposed later.
I think he plays like a very traditional 2nd 5 and could suit 1st 5 in this saders team, with their lack of class there. He needs some time though, he'll make mistakes.
Highlights from that game
Discussion here.
I like this Saders loose trio, all three in their best positions again and no one-trick loosie in sight.

@Duluth Wasn't that a case of good in the first half, bad in the second half?
Yeah at halftime some people were calling for him to be the AB 10 haha. Second half was less good but also the Chiefs pack got on top. Certainly a pass mark against a hard team
Here's the highlights. You can't judge much here, but you can see his involvement in a couple of 1st half tries

Havili at 10 just screams of desperation for an answer. Should just stick with Reihana.
On the other hand, it looks like a case of just getting your best players on the field all at once.
Fihaki must feel pretty hard done by with having been dropped for McNicholl last week and now for Halfpenny who hasn’t played any footy at all since his injury, interesting decision.
-
Odd that both wingers have switched sides. Why would you move Reece off his preferred wing?

Definitely that, and a call from the AB coach.
To be honest, as I thought in 2020, his best chance to maintain an AB jumper is to be Mr fixit - if he can cover 10, 12, FB he's a very handy squaddie.

McNicholl was fullback last week (Murray the other wing). I presume McNicholl is only comfortable on the right?
[edit] Nope, McNicholl has played left wing a couple of times this year

This is the way the wings lined up in their win v Chiefs
Reece started on the left wing in that game also.
