no i didn't but you are missing my point.
-
No I undetsrand it and don't disagree with it.
I'm just saying Knowler is trolling and the win is being massively overrated by some
-
oh he's seriously trolling. And it's not a bad one either really. The wording of the whole Hurricanes portion is delicious
-
The main reason I posted it was to bring it to the attention of @Canes4life

@Machpants it wasn’t that good of a performance. You were very critical of it
The canes? I didn't watch, I missed it thinking kick off was 7. Or the blues?

Haha Knowler has to be trolling here. If he's serious it's a concern. Can't trust those one eyed Cantab journos.
Also, does he not understand what the concept of a Power Ranking system is? You shouldn't be able to gain that many positions, and you shouldn't be able to lose that many positions in one week.
-
i can understand the Crusaders jump in position a hell of a lot easier than the Highlanders jumping 5 after beating...the force...at home....by 1 point....7-6...any other year and that would loose you points

He wants clicks, eyeballs and controversy. Like damn near every journalist.

@KiwiMurph not having Proctor in the frame at all is the biggest troll.

@nzzp Rome wasn't built in a day... I think a big thing they need to look at with scheduling, is who plays who when.
Example: Highlanders playing the Hurricanes at home on a long weekend... the sort of game that would get a good crowd if played when people are in town, but with students and others heading away, you lost about 30% of your crowd.
Reckon the classic example of good scheduling will be seen when the Highlanders probably get their best home crowd since the first game after COVID v the Chiefs.
The fact the Highlanders and Crusaders don't play each other home and away every year is borderline stupid... granted some may argue fairness, but I'd far rather play the Crusaders twice than Moana twice.
-
what really?....baring and maybe including this year a crusaders game is a certain loss!
i agree with the other points though, try and schedule some games better to align with things like public holidays, try and do derby on Saturdays so people have time to travel there and back etc

I'd rather lose to the Crusaders every year, but with a guaranteed home game, than getting a false record because we beat MP.
Rivalries are what makes competitions, but it is hard to build a rivalry without consistently playing them... Have been to 10/11 of our last home games against the Crusaders (darn COVID) and we've only won three of them, but the amount of joy you get from those wins, is so far clear of winning every year against MP etc.
