Waratahs v Crusaders

Having just watched the end of the match Berry seems to be saying to Reihana that the stadium clock is correct, which is not always in sync with the TV clock. I noticed that the TV clock kept ticking over when they were checking Lilo-Willie's try. There was about 30 secs wasted there. I'm not absolving Reihana, just adding to the confusion.

I can’t see Grace adding much to the All Blacks based on what I have seen from him this year.
Plenty of competition in that loose forward space

@Tim Absolute lazy fluffybunny. I don't want to see him anywhere near a Black Jersey until he fixes this massive flaw in his game.
Even at his best he was probably not test standard. Never understood the hype.

It must be pretty hard for any of the Crusaders players to shine at the moment as the team is in crisis mode and trying to get their season to a point of some type of respectability.
Not sure if the Tahs deserved it but they took their chance when they got a sniff at the end. Much like the ABs in the Raynal test in Aus.
The clock/last kick is really curious. I don’t think I have ever had to consider thinking about this before.
I know they had a lot of injuries and defections but the Crusaders really shouldn’t be this bad!

The Tahs tried to hand that game to the Crusaders multiple times in the last 10 minutes. The game had some really good tries, but the tackling was terrible.
Restart retrieval from both sides was atrocious. They are struggling to win for a reason. And at the end the Saders definitely blew it mentally - the kick, the knock forward by JM and then a terrible lineout meant they can look inwards as to why that game got away from them.
All that, and they'll still probably make the 8 with soft teams to come.

Pretty damning of the comp structure if they do.
It demeans regular season, but keeps lower mid table teams interested. And frankly it's about broadcasting dollars.
Original Super was merit based - 11 games, top 4 go to knockouts. And not too long a comp so if you don't perform it doesn't drag on and on. I have vivid memories as a Blues fan of our season basically being over at Easter (or even before the end of the cricket season!), but the comp having months to go.
