While we may not win it this year, there is no way the dynasty is over look at the result from our Under 20s. Other teams realise we simply haven't clicked this year, when we do watchout. At the very least I expect to see a few games where we do click, sadly it maybe too late for this season. What we will looking for is a massive reset for the future and player/coaching overhaul. The Crusaders still have a lot to play for including a new stadium and they may even have a new NRL franchise breathing down their necks.

Yeah 100% Mate the Dynasty may have a few cracks this year but will come back.

I wouldn’t want to play us in the quarterfinals
    with all our players back.

@Chris thanks mate. First year without being involved for 27 years. The CRFU has finally worn me down. They have zero care for club rugby. We have lost 2 great clubs this year and I know there’s a couple more that are struggling too.
For what they pay 1 All Black a year would be enough money to run all of club rugby in chch. Rant over 😂😂

    @george33 Blackadder , Lio Willie.

If the evil empire can get a few wins to end the season, and have a few of their better players back, they are a team I wouldn't want in the first round.

Especially, if they can get better cohesion with what they can do with their available players, they could be much more dangerous. They look to me like they don't have a clear strategy of how they want to play on both sides of the ball.

If they simplified the game plan to maximise the skills of the players they have, I could see them being much more dangerous.

For example, I don't think they should be starting Heinz, but if they must, then ruck a kick/chase game off his box kicks.

Aumua should be brought into to 12 to be a go forward bail out option and basically the ball won't go much further past him (or Reece on the short ball) when they do run it unless there is a clear scoring option.

So, take out the side to side and opt for territory at the expense of anything in their half. Focus on in-hand kicking from 10 and from Fihaki, with lots of contestables to suit their wings and FB in the air.

For the forwards, the line-out needs fixing urgently. If they can't get that right, nothing else will really matter tbh. After that, it's accuracy on both sides of the ball and adding a few more class players.

But jog on with your fickle support, just don't come running back when the Crusaders start winning again

Not sure telling supporters to jog on is the best thing for the game.

I don't think the post he was responding to was from a supporter mate, just someone who swaps between codes as suits.

No the person he responded to has been a long time Crusader supporter and has been heavily involved in the Chch rugby scene for a long time.

Ok , just the tone of his post seemed like a fickle type supporter who was crowing the death of rugby.

On a positive note, I have never seen so many people making comments in the Crusaders thread from other franchises before. Crusaders 2024, bringing people together😁

Tabai Matson is leaving his current job. He would be the perfect man to rebuild the Crusaders.

Ignoring the Crusaders are bad = problems for the ABs. The actual shape of the saders in the example is so awful, who is attack coach there?

Will the Crusaders' decline spark a slow death for New Zealand rugby?

The once-mighty Crusaders franchise have lost all five Super Rugby Pacific matches this season, potentially destabilising the All Blacks.

James Marshall who I don't rate and was surprised he got the job.
Last Season Scott Hansen covered his arse by developing game plans for different teams but is not there now.

@Chris what's Ellison covering this year? I understand he's been defence since 2021 but didn't his role change this year with Matt Todd joining the group?
