I feel the fixture betwixt Arsenal and Man City will determine the fate of the ladder.

@KiwiPie Meanwhile, the Hollywood boys of Wrexham AFC march on...

They have stumbled a bit recently but so have all the teams at the top - top 6 all with a realistic chance of finishing top 3 and automatic promotion. 7th downwards is a logjam for a play-off spot.

Unless it's a draw and Liverpool v Brighton is also a draw and then nothing changes

    Champions League quarterfinal draw:

    Arsenal vs. Bayern Munich
    Atlético Madrid vs. Borussia Dortmund
    Real Madrid vs. Manchester City
    Paris Saint-Germain vs. Barcelona

    Champions League semifinal draw:

Atlético Madrid / Borussia Dortmund vs Paris Saint-Germain / Barcelona
Arsenal / Bayern Munich vs. Real Madrid / Manchester City

So Arsenal gets to face Kane again, and the two big boys play each other in the QF. That side of the draw is much tougher.

the way BHA have been of late with their own injuries, I wouldn't put it past Liverpool to win big in that game

Yeah although Bayern are weaker this season, that is a heavyweight 4 on one side and all 4 of the teams on the other side can smell a chance of making the final. PSG v Barca will be hugely entertaining.

Absolutely - 6-0 wouldn't surprise. But with a week off to sort themselves out, BHA actually have the game plan to expose Liverpool at the back - if they can beat their press.

And having won 4-0 at Villa, Spurs lose 3-0 to Fulham who were outstanding.

Great FA Cup tie between Wolves & Coventry. Coventry 1-0 going into the final 10, Wolves score twice to lead going into added time of 9 minutes. At 90+6, Coventry equalise and then win in at the death.

First Muniz goal was outstanding, @dogmeat you must be happy with that result!

Im surprised that the Brentford are in relegation contention and expected them to buzz past Burnley.but now really are in the mix. Still think will be safe come the end, but squeaky bum for sure

That was a great win for Fulham
today. We have beaten Arsenal,Man U, Brighton given Liverpool a real fright and had successive 5:0 wins but also lost to Burney and Bournemouth and had some weak draws.
We are inconsistent as hell but it’s a great ride. The Nigerian influence is obvious and Iwobi and Bassey have been great since AFCON. Some on the forum ( which I am banned from ) are talking Europe which is a bit over optimistic .

FA Cup Man U vs Liverpool was a great watch. The Man U subs were very good. Game really ebbed and flowed. Probably a blessing in disguise for Liverpool to be out.

Villa really owe Fulham big time.

Beat Spurs, Man U and BHA and lost to the Villains.

The win over Spurs was fun. Sure, they were off colour but even so everything we did turned to gold.

So much talk about Muniz now. Six weeks ago no one gave him the time of day.

He always played with enthusiasm but was so uncoordinated and positionally unaware.

He's like a new born foal that suddenly intuits how to gallop.

I think what this weekend shows is how hard it is to play with frantic desire and dominate with sheer running and enthusiasm. Spurs dominated Villa by hounding them all over the pitch - but the risk with that approach is that you leave huge gaps behind you so when it goes wrong, then the whole structure falls apart. Spurs could get up for Villa last weekend but not for Fulham this time, in a similar way Liverpool played like a team possessed in the 2nd half against City last weekend but you cannot play like that every game.

Anyway 3 fantastic FA Cup ties and one fizzer is not a bad return - and United now with a golden chance to return for the final again with a potential sky blue banana skin.

For an Arsenal supporter, Coventry beating Wolves was good news, as that avoids yet another rescheduled game in a congested April.

Forest docked four points which offers a lifeline to not only Luton but also Burnley.

They will appeal of course but the evidence is pretty damning. 4 points seems about right.

I heard the minimum was 6 points so maybe an appeal will bump it up? They spent a ridiculous amount last season so it is no surprise that they were caught out.

Kiwi pie you must be a good tactician. I was reading some English journalist and he said virtually the same thing. If you play a high press free flowing supposedly weaker teams can hurt you. He was highlighting how well Fulham do against the top teams who think they can dominate us and how they have trouble with defensive minded lower ranked teams who just don’t give the space to counter attack. I’ll take Marcos way of doing it even though we might get bashed sometimes.%p
