Young caught on the boundary hitting out. Fuck this is poor cricket, we won’t even get to 200 now.

Really shit from a guy who is playing for a shot at Australia coming up….

The last few dismissals have all been pretty stupid. Feels like we're not respecting the pitch and the bowling enough. Need one of the bowlers to produce something now. Southee maiden century go.

Southee and Henry certainly aren’t grafters, they’ll have a go

Yeah they cant scratch around and make not much,a quick 20/30 from one of them will help.

Young looked like he hit that exactly where he wanted - except short of six.

If so, it was a totally brainless shot!

Phillips' effort wasn't a hell of a lot better.

If the Black Caps blow this chance to finally win a series against SA it will be right up there at the top of NZ sporting calamities.

King Theoden a bit too bulky to get down to catch Timmy at slip!

If Southee keeps trying to play like an opening bat he is out within 10 more balls.

The High Performance environment and hangers on around the Black Caps and White Ferns remains the same. Enough talent, but about as consistent at stepping up as a local twilight team.

Wagner saves us from complete humiliation. The only guy who exceeded expectations with the bat.

Good innings by O'Rourke - recognising his role.

Well Wags means that the hole we're in isn't as bad as it could have been. We'll need to bowl phenomenally well. Be interesting to see how South Africa bats, first time this series they've been batting while ahead of the game, might be a bit easier for them.

@Cyclops I expect us to still win this test, because we surely can't engineer so many dismal dismissals in the second innings - and we've got better batting and bowling than the Jaaps.

Though, we should probably have played Santner.

These bowlers better come out angry and absolutely firing!

Someone needs to bowl fucken well, preferably with some magnificent support.

The non Santner selection is odd given we essentially have a specialist number seven batsman which is weird.

I don’t expect us to win, it’s more a case of hoping.
