Probably could rename this thread, however a coup for Rassie
https://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/350160800/former-highlanders-coach-tony-brown-linked-springboks-role
I think his passport and citizenship needs to be revoked immediately, along with all of his living relatives, and his name should be removed from the history of NZ rugby.

Won't work with Razor for the ABs but will work for Rassie for the Boks???
Perhaps the issue is he doesn't want anything to do with the current NZR set-up and people. He's not the only coach they have pissed off in the recent past.
-
@Victor-Meldrew I thought Fozzie asked him too, so it makes you wonder if there is more to it 🤔

Why would he lie? He was on TV and said when Razor asked him last time, and said he was on Joseph's ticket, and didn't think you should stand on more than one. He was also on Joseph's ticket just last year when he stood.
Why do we have to look for things that aren't there, like oh he wouldn't work withRazor or Fozzie, or he doesn't like the NZR?? Fellas you read to many mystery books and try and read things into to many things, sometimes it is quite simple. -

Yeah, but that would be Fern-like, would it?

Oh the build up for SA v Ireland has already started, can't wait!
“When I said that after the game: the thing was obviously you shake the guy’s hands and probably 12 out of the 23 when I shook the hands told me, ‘See you guys in the final’.
“Because the way the logs worked out we were going to play France and they were going to play New Zealand and my immediate thought was, ‘Are these guys seriously not even thinking about the All Blacks in the World Cup quarter-final playing against them?’

Even more, from former international Darcy
Making some bold claims on the ‘best team in the world’ debate, D’Arcy said:
“It is the people’s favourite against the actual favourite. It is the people’s champions against the actual champions. I’m joking, but it’s going to be a fantastic series.
Interesting banter, to think that just 'cos he likes Ireland, everyone else does! People's favourites my arse
