Sight screen delay.
Test cricket - any excuse to stop play......
Just fucking stupid. You know it needs to be white and fucking huge. Sort it out.

the problem was the soft as butter australian who found a tiny object on the massive screen and stopped play. not SCG's problem, twitchy Smith's problem.
Game is crawling long, Aussies on go slow but also dropping wickets. Old mate's 82 looking even more like a gem of knock now.

Happened Day 1 with one of the Pakistan bats as well.
So not just Smith
Soft as ghee?

lol 6 wickets in like 18 balls

The commentators often go on about unplayable balls and you think - Sachin or Brian or Viv or Don would have played that comfortably.
But that Starc one reminds me of Fred Trueman cleaning up some kid.
On one occasion, a Cambridge University batsman, having just been dismissed, acknowledged him with the condescending compliment: "That was a very good ball, Mr Trueman". Trueman replied: "Aye, wasted on thee".
It was going to get most!

Davey has retired with a test average lower than Mark Richardson. (44.59 vs 44.77).
That makes me happy.
If ever I need convincing that statistics don’t alway tell the full story I think this is it.
Disclaimer: I actually really like Rigor as a broadcaster and admired him hugely as a test batsman.
