What a disgusting decision, especially considering a team like Man City can flaunt the rules and get off scot free
City and Chelsea are both facing charges (City are facing 115 charges, vs the 1 that Everton has just been found guilty of). So I think the real test of the decision will come when those cases are resolved and what kind of penalty they'll get. If 1 charge is worth a 10 point deduction, 115 would be relegation at a minimum you'd think. Here's hoping the EPL have the guts to do that.
that's the big question, lets hope they do

I don't think they have the guts

That position makes no sense.
Are Everton guilty? Yes. Do they deserve a punishment for being guilty? Yes.
I struggle to see how this could be considered disgusting.
Man City / Chelsea are totally irrelevant. If they've broken the rules and found guilty then they'll be punished. Being disgusted by this is akin to being disgusted by somebody getting jailed for a rape, when somebody else murder charge hasn't been heard yet.
-
No, they are just using every trick in the book to not co-operate.
Tbh, with the UAE and now Saudi Arabia owning clubs in the league, the PL has virtually lost control of its own league.
The current expectation from other fans os they will not get punished
-
The decision is one where Everton will come out relatively unscathed.
They will not get relegated as their are 3 teams that are far worse than them this year.
If it happened last year they would be in the championship now.
This ruling does open them up to being sued by clubs that were relegated in those years. The ruling stated that despite repeated warnings about finances they continued to buy players in an attempt to strengthen their squad (failing miserably at that I might add😂). This was outlined in the judgement.
Leeds, Burnley and Leicester are 3 clubs that have written to Everton to tell them they will be taking legal action against them if they are found guilty. They now have been so this is the biggest issue Everton face now.

@DaGrubster and the implications for the sale of the club - price /whether it goes ahead...

Incredible games yesterday.
Liverpool's 4 goals are as good as you'll see anywhere on the planet. Huge credit to Fulham who gave a storming account of themselves. Chelsea ground out a 3-2 over Brighton in a match which included a 40th minute red card & then a penalty given at 98 mins, only to be overturned by VAR. Lastly, Spurs / City played out an absolute classic with the ref having a bit of a shocker at the end to not allow play to continue with a braking Grealish.
Storming day of Football.

Good weekend of football unless you’re the manager of Sheffield United!
Loved Dom Solanke’s turn, spin and shoot on Saturday too
-
@bayimports I liked Ollie Watkins header better

Grealish must have been close to offside? They never showed it on the telecast. Then the ref gave them 3 extra minutes and they still couldn't win it.
i saw a clip on twitter which showed he was on.
Still in his own half I think.
Strange game that City - Spurs one. Spurs managed to never look like scoring but it being inevitable that they would - pretty much 3 chances and 3 goals and City should have buried them by half time. Respect for Ange and his style though - once he ditched the little boy Gil and put some steel into the midfield, they looked good in the second half and took the game to City.
Felt sorry for Fulham, deserved something from that game and shows how vulnerable Liverpool can be when they have so many players who don't have to track back. Also thought that 4th goal could have been ruled out for a push but only if the ref had called it.
Chelsea v Brighton. Gallagher is an idiot, he needs to rein himself in when he's on a yellow not go sliding into players from behind. VAR actually did what VAR was designed to do in overturning that late penalty, ensuring a completely incorrect call was not made.
Newcastle v Man U. United were awful, spectacularly bad and the Newcastle midfield of Bruno, Joelinton and Miley (who looks like a gawky 14 year old) completely bossed the game. 1-0 was a bit of a travesty and United could have stolen an unworthy draw at the end. Rashford doesn't even pretend to defend properly when he is meant to be - no idea what is going on there.

Bournemouth suddenly looking more comfortable. Saw some of Luton away at Brentford (it was a poor night for sleeping) and they are a very limited team, hardly created anything against a weakened Brentford. Sheff U already look goneburger and Burnley a bit too flimsy to get many wins (so far - they look the most capable of improvement).
-
@KiwiPie Starting to play the way Iraola wants, although some players still dont really get it. Christie proving really valuable and now Billing (who used to be a core player, looks like he needs shipping).
Still need first team to stay fit, which we are having trouble with, but at least we're looking like a better team and the confidence helps.
The draw opening up has helped as well, it really was a tough start when you're changing the way you play at the same time.

@bayimports Kliuvert and Semenyo gave Konsa and Carlos fits all game. Not gonna lie, Semenyo was lucky to stay on the field after he should have been booked for a 2nd time for pulling Bailey back, but that's on the ref, and I wish he did go off haha he was bloody good.
As you alluded to, it takes time implementing a new style, but you guys are definitely getting there. You guys and Fulham are definitely better than what your league position is showing.
