Well. Seems some NRL pundits are barking up the wrong tree with this one https://wwos.nine.com.au/nrl/news-2023-the-mole-roger-tuivasa-sheck-clone-solomon-alaimalo-clubs-offer/79c60a6f-ef8e-49ee-8946-b8375613aa14

@SouthernMann he'll always be a disappointment (not personally as i know he had issues) just the opportunity missed, could have been just what we needed

Fergus Burke will miss the remainder of Canterbury’s NPC campaign, but there’s better than expected news for the Crusaders.
Burke busted his Achilles during Canterbury’s quarterfinal win against Auckland last week, prompting fears the man tasked with filling Japan-bound Richie Mo’unga’s boots would miss the entire Super Rugby season.
However, while Burke is set to go under the knife in the coming weeks, it’s understood the Crusaders are optimistic he could return shortly after the team’s round seven bye in mid-April.
That’s a roughly six-month time-frame for the 24-year-old, who was carried off the field in Christchurch after going down in a heap with a non-contact injury.
The Highlanders will need to source another lock with confirmation Dunshea has suffered yet another serious injury.
Limited to 22 games for the Crusaders the past seven years due to a lousy run of injuries, including a damaged pectoralis major – the largest muscle of the anterior chest wall – early this year, Dunshea signed a two-year deal with the Highlanders in July.
He is set to undergo surgery in Christchurch this week, and is expected to be sidelined longer than Burke due to the severity of his rupture, Bourke said.

@Kiwiwomble yeah, that's pretty shitty.

It looks like Moana Pasifika have lost Tima Fainga'anuku to the Melbourne Rebels (assuming it's a typo in the image below and not someone else). This is the Rebels squad for their upcoming tour to Japan:
Unless he has switched to tighthead prop, then bizarrely it seems it isn't a typo!

Is anyone else on the Fern aware of this
Good news for Drua team as Australian Govt had sponsored them along with the Moana Pacifica team for a Whopping $52 million four year deal bulk of the money going to Drua.This is a funding up to the next 2027 Rugby World Cup in Australia.
