2023 Hawke's Bay Representative Rugby

Nice effort sabateur in nullifying my fix to get the name of my province recorded almost correctly but it is getting to the almost petty childish stage now that the suggested workarounds have also been added to the list that sees just the word Hawkes being published. Well I have made another slight change so await with my stopwatch running to see how long it takes for that one to also be added to the list of prohibited descriptions of my province!
-
@Stargazer I am unsure of the change options available to moderators when they get in and edit/change a post but I am 100% certain the way I have originally typed the name of our province still remains intact when I look at the submission in the edit option. I suppose I will eventually get a ban after I continue to find ways to get our name recorded almost correctly in full no matter how long these petty and vindictive changes keep taking place.
By the way how can you tell if your post has been moderated?
EDIT Forgot to say that my latest attempt to provide more challenge to the sabateur still has not yet been changed back to simply "Hawkes". -
@Stargazer Might have to register another username to get round the ban that I feel might come my way if I keep annoying them by making slight changes to our name to keep them busy by making them having to keep on checking for them!
-
@Stargazer Wonder what would happen if the Hawkes Baay Apple Growers Association wanted to advertise on or sponsor this site with a $100,000.00 payment in return for having their name on the masthead?

@Higgins Yeah, this child mod has also removed us from the list of NPC teams and listed South Canterbury instead. We now appear under "Everything else". Someone has too much time.
Maybe the perpetrator of this childish escapade might have been given the tip off from higher powers and that Hawkes H Bay have been officially booted out of the NPC and they have rectified the records on here to reflect this? Thus it stands to reason that the match in Tauranga scheduled for later this afternoon must have been cancelled as one team clearly is no longer eligible to take part.

@Higgins Yes, I think they will. Probably still busy with something else.
Have just got round to checking and can report the sabatuer is back on the job and lo and behold the name in the original post has been shortened once again. Needless to say I have come with another spelling variation so the stopwatch has been reset!

@Higgins If you don't delete your post, I'm sure they'll change that, too.
If you look at the name change in the quoted bit of this post I see you were eventually right in your observation that the childishness and vindictiveness of the sabateur knows no bounds. Obviously they do not have the ability to change the actual name of the thread, at least for now anyway. It's quite exciting really keeping track of what efforts are being made to carry on with the crusade. To help the sabateur out as they have not yet got round to tampering with it but it probably won't be too long before Hawkes Baayy gets added to the list!
-
Well done sabateur, that did not take long, although it had to be drawn to your attention. Just as well that there are many other ways of varying the name of the province so one day you might slip up and not place one of them on the "oh we can't accept that name" list!
